Physical Activity & Health is part of the Department of Kinesiology, Recreation, and Sport Studies at the Universityof Tennessee. The center is dedicated to promoting physical activity and helping individuals enhance their health, fitness, and quality of life.

Vol Walk! 

Our next walk with be held October 10th at noon. The starting location is at the new bridge at the intersection of Volunteer Blvd/Andly Holt Ave (near the Hill). The map will be available this week! We are excited to announce that our special VOL co-host is Dr. David Bassett! He is the co-author of Pedometer WalkingDr. Bassett is a professor here at UTK and he also directs the UT Applied Physiology Laboratory within the KNS department.  He is co-director of the Obesity Research Center at UT (with Dr. Naima Moustaid-Moussa).  Come join us at the Vol Walk! :)



This is a free event! Grab your friends and co-workers and take a break with us Friday, October 10, 2014 at noon! Water and snacks will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there!
